Crochet Graph from a Logo or Simple Image
Simple graphics convert far better than photos. A logo with two or three flat colors makes a clean chart for a patch, tote or cushion.
Steps
- Use a logo you own or have permission to reproduce.
- Crop tight around the shape so you do not waste stitches on empty margin.
- Choose 2 or 3 colors and a width of 30 to 60 stitches.
- Convert, then paint over any stray cells or jagged edges.
- Print, or save the SVG.
Keep it readable
- Thin lines become broken dots on a coarse grid. Use thicker shapes.
- Text under about 7 stitches tall is hard to read.
- Check the finished size estimate against your gauge swatch.
Results depend on your yarn and tension. Make a small test first.
